Elon Homes & Schools for Children is launching an innovative program to help individuals ages 18-21 who have been in Foster Care at some point in their lives. The program supports young adults transition from Foster Care to life as independent adults.
Our Villages program provides dormitory housing, seminars on life skills, support for entry and success in college, community college and trade schools and support for entry into the workforce.
Financial support for this program is provided to residents under new legislation. Residents are required to either be employed or be in school 80 hours per month. A monthly stipend is provided to participants for food, clothing and incidental expenses.
We are accepting applications today for our dormitory location in Charlotte, North Carolina. To inquire about this program, please contact Rose Cooper, Chief Operating Officer at 704-369-2509 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
