Kennedy Charter Public School
Charlotte-based Kennedy Charter Public School serves students in grades K-12, many of whom are who are labeled "at-risk" of academic failure in a traditional public school, largely due to low-income or otherwise disadvantaged circumstances. Kennedy Charter succeeds with students by providing them with a community-centered school, specially trained teachers, small class sizes, personalized education plans, and the availability of psychological and educational testing and treatment resources. Currently, there are more than 300 students attending Kennedy Charter, with more than 90% receiving free or reduced lunch.
